5/26/2005 05:37:00 PM|||Buzz|||Several Tennessee lawmakers were arrested today in a bribery probe conducted by the FBI. The most prominent name on the list is the Uncle of US Rep. Harold Ford. Congressman Ford has always struck me as a thoughtful and reasonable fellow. It's a shame his Uncle is messed up in this.

Charged along with Ford and (Former Sen. Roscoe) Dixon are Sens. Kathryn Bowers and Ward Crutchfield; and state Rep. Chris Newton.

All are Democrats except for Newton, a Republican.

Also charged were Barry Myers and Charles Love, a registered lobbyist.
