Little Green Footballs throws a counter punch to some nuttiness propagated by Daily Kos. LGF points out that making allegations of abuse is part of the al-Qaeda training manual. How easily the American left and the MSM fall for such claims.

It seems to me that the phony allegation that an American soldier flushed a Koran down the toilet was so readily believed by Newsweek because it fits the opinion the MSM has of our soldiers. The MSM believes that all soldiers are just like Lyndie England or the others convicted or awaiting trial for abuses at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. The MSM has consistently underreported the good news from places like Iraq and Afghanistan and overreported stories about alleged abuse - and now even reports phony claims because it fits the supposed pattern.

I wish subscribed to Newsweek so I could cancel my subscription now.
